   About Stukas Over Bedrock
Stukas Over Bedrock was formed in the early 80's by Ken Clean-Air System - Vocals, James Barnett - Bass, Rodrigo Flores - Guitar, Pete Grella - Guitar, and Danny Tunick - Drums. Everyone contributed to the songwriting, influenced by Dickies and Ramones funny punk, Flipper influenced slow dirges, with a dose of thrash. The band name was inspired by the Dickies song 'Stukas Over Disneyland'. This line-up performed at self promoted shows with bands like Hated Principles and Neighborhood Watch.

Danny Tunick moved to Berkeley and Wolfgang Honke from Germany joined on drums. This was the most successful line up of the band. This line-up recorded the Life Like Yogi ep which received regular airplay on KROQ's Rodney on the ROQ program. They performed regularly at various clubs around LA like the Cathey De Grande and opened up for the Toy Dolls at Perkins Palace in Pasadena.

Rodrigo left the band and the remaining members continued playing regularly at the Anti-Club and other places.
Wolfgang went back to Germany and the band continued playing live shows with various drummers like Dave Bromberg and Roy Kutske (who later joined L7).
Danny returned to LA and the band recorded The Age of Aquariums and continued playing live. By the time The Age of Aquariums came out Danny had gone to New York to pursue a Masters in Music and James Barnett had moved to Chicago.

A new rhythm section of Mike Monsalve on bass on Kurt Mize was recruited and the band continued to perform live at such clubs as Al's Bar and the Shamrock. Mike left the band and Greg 'Wheels' Wheeler joined on bass. This line-up recorded the Invaders From the Planet Xemu ep and continued to perform live at various venues in Hollywood.

The band disbanded while individual members pursued other activities like writing screenplays and professional wrestling.
The trio of Pete Grella on guitar, Mike Monsalve on bass and Kurt Mize on drums got back together and started performing lives shows with different singers. Ken Clean-Air system joined them on a few shows, but is now retired from performing. Danny Tunick joined them on a show on drums with Kurt Mize singing. They did a show with a singer from Russia named Lena (see Stukas Over Moscow). They are currently performing live with Sondra Seven from Wound
