Stu Kinzel has been a NW regional "mainstay" in the Blues and Trad music community since 1977. He plays guitar, National Steel, mandolin, banjo, Tenor guitar, 12-string guitar, sings and writes songs. Stu also is a purveyor of fine string instruments and vintage amplifiers. LynnAnn Hyde has been performing W Coast venues since 1996. She plays diatonic and chromatic harmonica as well as button box, sings and writes songs. LynnAnn holds endorsements from Baldoni Accordions and Hohner Harmonicas. Kinzel & Hyde have been honored by the Cascade Blues Association with "Best Traditional Act" wins and "Best Guitar" and/or "Best Harmonica" nominations each year since 2000. They are in the "Muddy Awards Hall of Fame" and also resurrected Blues In The Schools for the CBA as director/performers 1999-2004, 2006-2007. Stu Kinzel and LynnAnn Hyde have performed at museums, historical societies, universities and community colleges as well as premiere festivals, events and nightclubs. They have also hosted workshops at Blues and Roots music events for harmonica and slide guitar and continue to teach music from their studio and on-line. Stu and Lyn have recorded three self produced/released CD's Their 2001/2002 release "Oklahoma Credit Card" featured on XM "Bluesville", DirecTV BluesChannel, Live 365 blues stations and was named one of the top 10 indie Blues releases on NPR "Blues On Stage" (Ruth Brown host) 2002 as well as several other "Best Of 2002" release lists world wide. They have been included on 7 NW compilation discs including the "Official Year of the Blues/ Water Front Blues Festival 2003 CD" on Allegra Records. They continue to record under contract to Blue Heron Entertainment Group with
"IN REAL TIME" scheduled for March 2008 release.
Boyd Stoughton plays bass in trio and band. He is from Portland and plays 4-string Fender bass.
Drummer duJour includes Dave Melyan (The Insomniacs) as well as other NW skin-beaters.
