stumptown sawyers are danny on banjo, robyn and mike sawing their fiddles, dennis playing guitar and paul thumpin' the base. we all make a case to sing, harmonize, and generally carry on as best we can. your toes will always be tapping and the melodies will be old time with a hint of bluegrass every now and again.
we came together around camp fires, kitchen tables, beer bottles, and coffee cups - jamming together and with other fellow musicians, hiking, drinking, teaching, singing, dancing......square dancing too...come toe tap or kick up your heels with Stumptown Sawyers: danny mcirvin, paul, mike, dennis, and robyn.....SUMMER is here and part of the band is headed out....onto the road, a trip across the country to pick with friends and gather new experiences. Hope to see you on down the road.....CLIFFTOP was amazing! Such a fun time to meet new musicians, play new tunes, and dance in the rain.
Glad to have seen at least 1/4 of y'all in Berkeley. Hope to see the rest of you sometime soon. Maybe when I make it back to Portland or in Seattle for D2BS in December. Hope y'all are doing well!
