I play guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, do sound, make records, program beats, synths and appregiators, and sing through vocoders and microphones. I try to tell the truth as much as possible. I have a band called U LIVE on the DANCEFLOOR and also am a member of The Spores.
I've toured around the world, and extensively in North America. I grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but have lived in Los Angeles since 1990. I've worked with acts as far ranging and diverse as Devo, The Vines, KSM, Queens of the Stone Age, The Start, Brant Bjork & the Bros., Plexi, Nine Inch Nails, Julian Lennon, Sunn0))), KISS, Mondo Generator, The Donnas, The Melvins, Hoku, Goatsnake, Triumph, Division of Laura Lee and Pink Floyd, among others.
I am a "family" member of the desert rock scene that emerged out of the high desert north of Palm Springs in the 1990's. One of the highlights of my sound career was doing a live quadraphonic tour of Europe with legendary space rock outfit earthlings?, another act deeply rooted in the desert rock scene.
In 2003 I formed The Spores with Molly McGuire, also known for her work with QOTSA, Martina Topley-Bird, Mondo Generator, and earthlings? We released two albums on SideCho records, "Imagine the Future" and "Doom Pop". The Spores toured the world quite extensively for 3.5 years, but are now in hiatus since 2008.
During said hiatus, I recorded a 10 song album in Eagle Rock, CA as the band U LIVE on the DANCEFLOOR, and have released the record through my own label, Abraca Pocus.
During the creation of the debut ULD album, I've enlisted original Spores drummer Kenny Pierce and Spores photographer Mike Massaro, plus skateboarding legend Adam "Alf" Alfaro on noise fx and spoken word legend Cottonmouth, TX to round out the sound of the band.

OUT NOW 'Fulltilt EP' from Glasgow outfit Mr Hajika.
4 slabs of groove driven tech house...
Fulltilt original is a chugging, bass heavy track with a subtle musicality that develops throughout. Dr. Bergers remix is a stripped down deeper edit, with an infectious flow that maintains the essence of the original. Similarly to Dr. Berger, Alex Fiction strips back the layers to uncover an electronic soul which builds into an intelligently emotive interpretation, if slightly twisted. Completing the package is 'Nitemoves' which shares the big sound of Fulltilt, but with a more progressive, melodic vibe."

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
