Heroes
Those who are able to teach great lessons (either consciously or unconsciously) that have the power to change people's lives to better. I see heroes in: Handicapped people who manage to survive in this crazy and unadapted world with a smile on their face. Poor people who can't afford to buy happiness but still wake up everyday to try. Old people who are a great source of wisdom and who have gone through the worst in their lifes but are mostly ignored and considered as a burden by society. Children who live in the truth and who's innocence is constantly corrupted by the world of adults. Animals that represent freedom and are mistreated by the savage side of humanity. All of those who are 'different' and despites the humiliations still believe that it's worth to be 'different'. Anyone that is brave enough to fight against injustices. Dreamers who make their dreams reality. Those who are hated for being extra-ordinary. All of those who are actually capable to LOVE...

About me: I go by the name of Lorena Sturlese Guerrero (funnily enough, Guerrero means Warrior in Spanish - hence my myspace name). I'm a Spanish-Italian mixture, someone who loves ART in all it's forms, most especially Fine Arts and Photography.
I am on Myspace basically for business purposes, however, I'll welcome all interesting people that knock my door while I'm here. You can contact me in English, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and French.
My whole life revolves around Art, reason why my jobs have all an aritstic nature.
I'm a pretty versatile person. Working as a PHOTOGRAPHER, FINE ARTIST and MODEL makes me be able to expand my creative winds in many different areas, which is a great way for me to evolve as an artist.
I'm on Myspace to promote my work, and to offer my services to whoever may need them. (Important note: I am a professional so YES, I do charge for my work. If interested, you can send me a message to ask about rates).

People could notice that I had a talent for fine arts since I was a child. And even though I could draw a lot of different things without a problem, most of the time I tend to draw people (especially when they inspire me) which I believe is a result of my fascination for the human race's complexity and the mystery of it's existence.

Who I'd like to meet: I'm interested to get in touch with artists from all over the world. But if you are not into Arts and you feel like talking to me, you're welcome to do so. I don't discriminate and I don't judge, so as long as you're polite, we can have a chat :-) By the way, if you are in my friend's list one day and you don't see yourself there anymore the next day, don't be surprised... and, most importantly, please don't be pissed off! I think there are too many tallented individuals in the world (or just people I love) who need to be shown off, so I'm giving all of those I consider worth of it a special space on my page. A requierement though, is to actually be a friend or someone I do atleast communicate with :) So if you "disappear" take it easy... I still love you! And you probably will be back again. Peace out!

How are you and Carlos doing? I hope you are both fantastic! Summer has brought lots of challenges that we all try to face with courage. I am quite sad about Michael Jackson passing. He is one of the few people that I can say have influenced me heavily artistically. He is a Broken Hero.

Haven't got any great news yet, just same old, still studying and improving a lot of skills, not much time for the internet.
I was supposed to go to Barcelona now in June for Sónar. But I have classes on that saturday, and I really don't feel like missing it. There will be a Sónar next year :) All my friends are going though... bastards haha
