STOP A GLOBAL CRISIS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! Current mood: hopeful Category: News and Politics
CNN's Special Investigative Report aired Battlefield Breakdown this evening. I almost don't even want to post to the World that we have a National and Global Crisis at hand if not stopped. However, CNN aired it, so I'd like to pass some of this pertinent information to my influential friends.
To my fellow American friends did you know:
88% of our National Defense is not ready for deployment? Our reserves are continuing to be called to duty in Iraq. We do not have enough Reserves if there is a National Crisis to even save us from another natural disaster. We haven't even finished cleaning up Hurricane Katrina's mess.
The Department of Defense has spent over 500 BILLION DOLLARS in this ongoing war of over four years. We are currently spending 2 Billion Dollars every week in Iraq.
3,500 of our forces are dead leaving widows and children in need of assistance. 25,000 of our young men and women are wounded.
2/3 of our 42 active brigades can't perform their duties due to lack of proper equipment, even their rifles need repair.
Some of our troops on the front line are even lacking the basic necessity of drinking water in this 120 degree desert while being shot at or in unarmored Humvee's.
Our own IED's that were looted at the beginning of the War are being used against us.
American's need to pray and assist our Soldiers defending our freedoms.
Hi, it's Tracy -- do you have (or can you create) a banner that can be copied to other MySpacer's profiles? Let me know if U have 1 or when you post one - THANKS!
