Style-City Music

Hey Style City, I happened to catch your video on Yahoo! today, and found my way to your MySpace page. I think your music is awesome. It's so retro-80's, and you really capture the essence of the different styles that were coming out during that time. I hear everything in there...post-CHIC Niles Rodgers, Rush, 'Til Tuesday, Bob Marley, Prince, Culture Club, even a little Police flavor. I would have to say the strongest of the songs I've heard so far is Clock Work. I love it. It sounds very focused, inspired, and thematic. ROCK ON. Not to mention, the arrangement of instruments is very tasteful. I love the guitar tone with just a little bit of delay & chorus, the serious, yet soulful delivery of the vocals, the simple, yet effective bass groove and the little insertions of piano runs...man, so awesome. I wish I were a pro-level producer or something, but unfortunately, I'm just a fan. Hope you guys come play in DC sometime. I wish you all the successes, and pray that God blesses everything that you do. Matt
