| Music | Tough question so this is going to be a bit verbose. Hip-Hop was the first music genre that I felt spoke to my generation's issues so it'll always be my first true love. Over time, I grew to appreciate Jazz with artists such as Roy Hargrove, Dizzy Gillespie and John Coltrane. (a nod to my buddy BrownEyed Diva)R&B and Soul from Ray Charles on up to Jill Scott (Philly) and Vivian Green (Philly again!) move me. I also like certain rock music. Mostly classic rock gets run in my car(i.e. anything from The Doors, some Zepplin)but right now I lift weights to Fear Factory's "Invisible Wounds." Can't forget Dancehall/Salsa/Meringue as a nod to my Costa Rican/Jamaican roots. I'll listen to anything heartfelt regardless or whether or not I can personally relate to the subject matter (for some reason I really dig Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama despite the fact that I'm as Yankee as they come and let's face it... from what I've heard, Skynyrd concerts are generally populated by people who think of the Civil War as the "War of Northern Aggression" as my man John Igoe would say...) | | Movies | I only mess wit that pimp/playa sh__ ya dig... I KEEPS me some "Scarface" and "Goodfellas" on the house and throw on "The Mack" once a day just for variety and to make sure my game's tight...just playing. the last two i've seen were the new "Fantastic Four" movie and the new "Transformers" movie. (true geek since '83) | | Television | Usually when I'm home its anything on Sprout or Nickelodeon. (my two boys dominate the TV's) When I get a chance to watch something I acutally want to watch it's usually basketball of some variety, ESPN, Family Guy, Drawn Together, Robot Chicken or anything on the History or Sci-Fi channel. | | Books | The Bible, "A History of Negro Masonry," "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," by Robert Kiyosaki "Reallionaire," by Dr. Farrah Gray
