Sty Folk Club - every Sunday night from 8.00pm to 11.00pm at the Ex-Services Club on the corner of Beanfield Ave and Leasowes Ave , Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 6BH.
Who I'd like to meet: At the moment ‘Sty Folk’ runs on a very casual ‘singaround’ or ‘singer’s night’ format ~ with a mix of mainly traditional and contemporary folk songs ~ self-penned songs or tunes ~ blues and also 50’s – 70’s pop . It’s free entry too ! Since Mick Stuart’s day the function room has been re-furbished and it is much more comfortable and welcoming. No more squeaky screen door. There is a big car park at the rear of the building.
