Steffon Josey Born in New Brunswick, NJ also known as Suave The Ape. I first started rapping when I was around 11 years old. I never really knew I could actually rap because I would always come up with crazy thoughts and write them down but never knew how to express them on a beat. As i got older i started to actually find my self to be in a position to be able to step in a booth and express my thoughts. Coming up in my early years i was a major Big Pun fan he was and still is my favorite rapper. I also had an ear for Bone Thugs & Harmony. I liked them because during the 90's when they were at there best they painted a lot of pictures with their words and their songs were amazing. I enjoyed them a lot.Big Pun on the other hand was a real heavyset artist to my knowledge rapped the fastest besides twista. I really looked up to Pun because he was a creative MC. That’s where I get my creativity from. But, when i rap i put my personal life into my rhymes. Also, what im thinking at the time. What ever comes to mind i write down and turn it into a song. Thoughts Of An APE is my 1st CD i actually recorded it is now finished. Now I am more focused on myThe Ape Still Remains Mixtape. Witch will be released Early 2009. I really dont have a date i want to stick with since this is such a good project & i have alot of support i want to be able to promote this more. The Beats are more exclusive as you can see from my page. & also a special thanks to the producers that made my mixtape possible. Some people ask will there be more Thoughts of an ape? The answer is yes. Since i have finished the "Thoughts of an ape" I have been working on the second part to this master piece. "Thoughts of an ape" has 15 solid tracks that are fire. I really dont know what im going to call the second part of thoughts of an ape because its still at the early stage but im working on it. I hope you enjoy my music page & make sure you stay in touch with my music. I am a real deep artist. i dont think i am a rapper. I am a poet. I put my feelings, thoughts, and visions into my work. & i express them on a beat. Theres nothing else to it. Just Know that i get real deep with my art. Stay in tune with my Movement. Btw Some Ask why i dont show my face. i dont show nothing to the world when it comes to music because i base my art on talent not my features but. the people that do know me, do know what i look like other then that i am the ape who wears a fang mask.
Peace.
