   About subgiant

The Subgiant sound? Think deep as hell dub basslines topped with a crunchy canopy of live beats and breaks. Spice this with one of the UK finest scratch Djs and you have a unique live electronic sound. The show skips from dub breaks to psy trance and back again.

Subgiant have become popular on the live club and festival scene, filling that gap between Dj and traditional rock band. The line up reveals how its all put together. The bass player also plays a pile of keyboards and samplers, the drummers kit is like something from cyber space and the turntablist has a miriad of toys to play with. Together they produce a tightly executed and powerfull sound, if you think you can resist to dance, think again.

Formed in 2000 the band have toured the UK and played on the continent, but it is the UK festival scene where they have really made an impression. With appearances at Glastonbury, Bestival, Beautiful Days, Larmertree, Wychwood, Big Green Gathering, Endorse It, Bloom, Sunrise Celebration, Earthwise, Octopus Festival, Glade and many more...

The band have released two albums. 2004 saw the release of 'Advances in Twig Technology' which was followed in 2006 with 'Global Control'.

TRACK IT DOWN
http://www.trackitdown.net/artist/212334/rogue-robots.html

Rogue Robots are Dj Lee Nazari and Producer Gareth Salmon, based on the south coast of England. Formed at the end of 2008 their intentions are clear: Rock the dancefloor! The Rogue Robots sound could be described as a mix of Electro and House with a filthy mix of avalanche inducing basslines, stomping beats and arsehole tearing riffs. Spurned on by the fact that its now cheaper to make your own tunes rather than buy them, what with the Credit Crunch and all... Rogue Robots have set about making a host of tunes for your dancefloor pleasure

Working at Glastonbury so may be able to catch your set there if it doesn't conflict with my shift on the day (hope so!). BTW, weather bods are after 1st hand accounts and have been gleening them from the forums on the Hawkwind website. Sure they would appreciate hearing yours..Will
