The next time anyone feels like GOD can't use them, just remember... Noah was a drunk Abraham was too old Isaac was a daydreamer Jacob was a liar Leah was ugly Joseph was abused Moses had a stuttering problem Gideon was afraid Samson had long hair and was a womanizer Rahab was a prostitute Jeremiah and Timothy were too young David had an affair and was a murderer Elijah was suicidal Isaiah preached naked Jonah ran from God Naomi was a widow Job went bankrupt Peter denied Christ The Disciples fell asleep while praying Martha worried about everything The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once Zaccheus was too small Paul was too religious Timothy had an ulcer. AND Lazarus was dead!
Now! No more excuses! God can use you to your full potential.
Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.
hey subie mag i know having a dvd is cheaper but i would rather have my paper magazine back im so far on chapter 14 and about 50mins in it i know ill get shit for it but i rather pay a lil more then have a dvd bec i cant watch a subaru dvd at a toyota dealership hahahahah please go back to paper but if not im still a HUGE fan keep up the great work
I realize that times are tough, but the dvd is not working out for me. I agree with a previous post that both should be offered at different price points. I received mine in the mail today and I'm still trying to get the darn thing to open.
wagon sale fell through. he was a freelancer and thus couldnt get his $$$ in order. I like the new DVD format, but I wish I had a little more MAG in my hand. I loved reading the mags from cover to cover and soaking up the knowledge, I think maybe offering both for different subsription ammounts might work better IMHO. either way I'll still be watching/reading :)
Alright well ive scoured quite a bit of threads only to find very little on the subject but what i have gathered is some guys use a system called a mega squirt tuner. Im not sure if its a replacable prom or if it lies to the computer but the fact that unlike the older ea82t motors with the flapper style mafs one would only have to block the vac line to the overboost sensor and can turn the boost up with a manual boost controller whereas the newer hotwire maf the computer figures overboost by airflow through the maf. Ive noticed since i have freed up some of the bottlenecks in the system that the boost level has lowered because the naturally aspirated performance has increased and the turbo no longer has to create the same boost level to accomplish the same airflow through the maf. Does this make sense to anyone? Ive read that the max boost level may be increased through ecu tuning or even swapping the flapper maf and ecu and going about it that way to use a boost controller without hitting the fuel cut. The spider intake and less restrictive hot wire maf are great starting points but the potential is limited by the more advanced computer. Im thinking if i can use the mega squirt tuner the only other things i would need are injectors from an 83 280z, egt gauge, and in line fuel pump from an 80's ford. Man, im kicking myself in the ass cause i work a Shit job and i would love to do this stuff for a living i just need a good mentor. Any help would be great folks. Thanks.
I haven't gotten a copy of Subiesport since my january issue..I read a couple post down that the newest one just shipped. Seems like im not the only one missing a copy?? Should I call the # im the mag?? Love the mag by the way...im a diehard subie fan with a swapped RS.
Thanks for the add! Ive got an 87.5 Subaru Xt awd turbo 5 speed with center diff lock, hot wire maf and spider intake ea82t and i was wondering if anyone has experience tuning this motor. My current mods are- thunderbird top mount intercooler, msd coil, cap and rotor, wider gap ngk plugs, high flow intake, 2 foot strait pipe after the turbo, new clutch, and bosch starter. I have pics and a short blog if anyone is interested in checking it out. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
