It's been a LONG TIME since we've updated but we're back and we're better than before. We have a new drummer, Emmit (formerly drummer of Fifth Column). He's just the motivation and talent that we've been looking for. In two weeks we've learned 9 songs, totaling about an hour set. We're excited to start playing shows again so if anyone has any ideas or anyone looking for a band to play let us know, we'll be glad to look into it. Stay tuned, SC is back and will start playing shows again ASAP!

ANOTHER CONGRATULATIONS TO SUBLIMINAL CRUELTY FOR WINNING THE TOP CROWD VOTE AT THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS AT TT REYNOLDS IN FAIRFAX, VA AND FOR ADVANCING ONTO THE QUARTERFINAL ROUND!!! They had a blast rocking out and playing an amazing show and also making some new friends with Dirty Jankins and Almost Human. Other advancing bands include Dirty Jenkins, Baktufreud, East on Orange, and Almost Human.
The next round of this battle will be held at Broad Street Tavern in Falls Church, VA over the next 3 weeks. Subliminal Cruelty will be taking the stage again on Saturday May 19th at Broad Street Tavern at 4:45 pm. Tickets are available on anthemevents.com, same as last time, and PLEAST DON'T FORGET TO ENTER OUR TICKET CODE DC042 when purchasing your tickets. Again, this part is EXTREMELY important as it determines how many people we are credited with bringing. Also, keep in mind that tickets for our May 25th show at Jaxx with Hardcore Promotions are also on sale for $10 in advance and $12 at the door. So, it's been a crazy last few weeks for SubCruelty. They've turned up with a new singer to start out 2007, his name is Jason Grime. For the next few weeks they're going to be crankin down and writing all new songs (same music different lyrics and melodies) so when you get a chance, come check out the new Subliminal Cruelty. You won't be disappointed. They're next show will be on March 10th, for the second round of Emergenza's Battle of the Bands. It will be at the 8X10 in Baltimore, MD.
