We formed because we felt we needed to. We were bored of how generic everything sounded and looked at gigs. The rhythms and the chords were all the same. Music school kids with the right haircuts were in the charts. Armed with just a good lyric, some pointy shoes, and a little Bill Drummond book, we went to work in a rehearsal room and this is what sound came out.
So far we have: Reached 18 in the Indie charts. Supported the Bravery (it was an honest mistake though), Babyshambles, Art Brut, Jamie T, Klaxons etc etc, Plus had Radio 1 daytime airplay on Chris Moyles and XFM daytime play on Ian Camfield. The Lovely Steve Lamacq is also a fan and played us on Radio 6 and also on his "in new music we trust" show on Mondays on Radio 1. That's just the story so far, watch out for pointy shoes in your town when the album comes out!

"The ironic thing is that itÕs so dancey and has such a get-out-of-my-brain-you-catchy-bastard chorus that itÕs perfect for the Koko posse" SoundsXP.com
"It's an electro pop-tastic song based around a simple keyboard and a saturday afternoon terrace chant harmony. before you know what is happening 'burn koko' has you jumping around and shouting along like one of the new breed of indie hooligans. Rough Trade
ItÕs a Òpart time punksÓ (television personalities) for the Nu Rave/Thames beat generation Ð Jarvis
A song for all the misshapes For those who canÕt fit in to Topshop jeans, canÕt afford to go out every night, or donÕt look good in florescent colours and white sunglasses, just start your own revolution. - Jesus Christ (PeterÕs book of Albion 2.1)
If this Song was an object, it would be a coked up Mirror in a girlÕs toilet in Shoreditch - Melody Maker
