Subliminal System


Subliminal System is the full-on psy project of Will Bolam (half of new electro project monk3ylogic). The music has been rocking dance floors since 2005, and is full-on psytrance featuring influences from other genres such as breaks, electro and even dnb and breakcore. It is usually pretty melodic but at the same time dark and twisted. Music that's dancefoor friendly but that can be listened to at home too. Doof doof squelch but not monotonous - varied basslines, tempos and beats. 4-to-the-floor - but not all the time, big buildups - but not every few minutes.

Subliminal System's Ableton based live set has been honed at many gigs over the last few years, with highlights including Sunrise Festival 2009, the first Tribe of Frog Summer Gathering and Waveform Festival 2009 and 2010.

Subliminal System's latest release is the new remix of 'Malevolent Intent' that has been destroying dance floors, out now on the debut album from Tribe of Frog's new record label Frogadelic Records. Entitled 'Frogology' this album features many of the amazing acts that have played at Tribe of Frog, with the likes of Fearsome Engine, Scorb, Flip Flop, E.V.P and OOOD lining up alongside Subliminal System.

'Frogology' is out now, full details including track samples are on the Tribe of Frog and Frogadelic websites.

Subliminal System has had tracks released on the Phar Psyde records compilations, with 'Lost In The System' on 'Sidewinder' and 'Trojan' on 'Ignition Sequence'.
