Update 1/30/12 Hello everyone who stumbles upon or seeks our page. Thanks for checking in and offering a listen. Sublingual is an original rock band out of Broomfield, CO that has been assembled for the mere fun of making music. What follows from our creations is up to you and we hope you like what we've come up with. Musically, our backgrounds are very diverse and with each of us comes a heritage in metal. Nate Conn (Bear the Palm) and Nathan Maciejewski (Withered Earth, Moment of Truth) met back in 2002 and played in Torture Device, a short lived and very aggressive metal band. Chris Curtis (Dead September) and Nate Conn go back even further. Nathan Maciejewski and Jeff Malpezzi met via Jeff's brother, Mark (A-Ok's) and had wanted to work together for some time. After Sublingual recorded "Soul Matter" in 2006 (with drummer, Joel Rioux), Chris was added and the band wrote more. The lineup shifted and ultimately, Jeff was asked to join and has been with Sublingual since. The four began writing together in 2009 and have recently completed their 3rd album, Awake, which will be released this May. This album roams the rock genre, is very accessible and we have truly enjoyed the work that has gone into its end result.
