Sublux is a quartet based in Baltimore, Maryland, whose music has been likened to that of such post-rock emissaries as Mogwai and Sigur Ros. Their songs are a concoction mixed to varying parts despair, passion, tempest, and hope--broodingly somber and rife with fervent determination.
Sublux has released Becoming Innocuous, a new 5-song ep. Available on www.cdbaby.com along with the original full length Nothing That Is Still
About the compilation.. No, I didnt lie to you. But I was not the only one involved in this project and the guy who has the contact to EITS somehow didnt make his job. No idea what will happen. Hopefully the thing becomes reality. I am interested in this myself as Milhaven would have been part of the compilation too.
I'll see if I can get a contact to the other 2 guys who are involved.
You have had no comments posted in some time, so I feel I must burden you with the typical "when you comin' close to my town", stupid question that happens so genarically often. Love both your discs received through CDBABY.com. Wonderful! Thanks!
Stumbled across "Nothing That is Still" on CDBABY.com a while back and ordered a copy. I love it! I can feel the passion through the rhythmic union of your collective contributions to the music! Keep it up. I will have to check out your newest jams.
Bryna brought me to the mojo last night, i've never heard you guys before... may i say, i was so happy to hear your music, it was beautiful. and then suddenly struck with sadness when she informed me of it being your last show. Congrats to the reasoning, but just know you've left a mark in me, and i loved what u wrote. Come back soon.
