I am a self employed internet marketer who practices Mixed Martial Arts(no, I'm not a pro, and no, I don't fight at any shows). I love the UFC, Pride and anyone helping to promote the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. I have a line of MMA clothing called SubmitSport ( www.submitsport.com )which is my second effort in the MMA clothing. The first was called SubmitWear in 2000. After spending many dollars of which I didn't have developing and promoting SubmitWear at such events like the Freestyle Combat Challenge in Racine,WI), I came to the conclusion that I still didn't have enough funds to keep it running to make a profit. So I ended SubmitWear.
After continuing to watch fights in the UFC, I got the bug to create another line of MMA clothing. This time named SubmitSport.
SubmitSport is simply a line of MMA clothes designed to be worn outside the ring or gym to help promote our sport.
The main design is inspired by TapOut ( www.tapout.com )with their naked choke logo. I loved the logo but didn't want to infringe on their design or piss off TapOut.(They are the ones who inspired me to start my clothing line in the first place.) So I tried to design something similar but different.
To all you other MMA clothing sites out there, don't worry, it is not my intention to sell the most or be the most popular, I simply want to continue promoting the great sport of Mixed Martial Arts. As a matter of fact I would like to thank you for helping make MMA what it is today.
I have great respect of every single fighter who gets in that ring or cage. I appreciate all the sacrifices they make to get to that level and I try as much as I can to support them.
Well, that's the story of SubmitSport....boring or not, there it is.
If you like the designs then great. If you don't, I really don't want to hear about it because you can't please everyone.
