About Subpilot

Subpilot was born and raised in Italy. He got in touch with electronic music when he was still a child. He spent his adolescence listening to house music and composing his first tracks. After moving to Bologna in 1996, he got progressively more interested with IDM and experimental electronica. In 2002 he moved to Amsterdam. The excellent local clubbing scene caused him to fall in love once again with the 4th to the floor beat. In particular, he got progressively interested in minimal techno and he started exploring the possibilities offered by Ableton Live. Today his main focus is on DJing with netaudio mixes released on Loopzilla, Sonic Walker and Mixotic. Since September 2007 Subpilot lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
