Everything I have ever wanted to write at that point in time. Inspired by the people I come in contact with and the events surrounding our world.
I am in love with music by artists such as: Incubus, The Smashing Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle, Paramore, Nelly Furtado, The Police, AFI, Coldplay, Sigur Ros, Stone Temple Pilots, Oasis, The Academy Is, Jesse McCartney, K's Choice, Kevin Rudolf, Lost Prophets, Paper Route, T.I., Lil Wayne, and the list goes on and on.
When posting comments, I do not support standalone advertisements, or image comments. For future reference, It's a lot easier to reply back to messages, then to sift through the many many comments I get a day. I try my best to talk to everyone, but leave a message if you want a guaranteed reply :)
Who and What is Sub Rose?
Sub Rose is my solo project, and my name is Jason Jones. Lets get familiar with that. All i've dreamed about for 70% of my lifetime was to bring a new thing to music, and effect the hearts and energy of everyone around me in the process. This is my journey, and I want you there along the way.
For a little insight though. Sub Rose has a bit of everything, my love for Rock, Pop, Jazz, R&B, and Atmospheric music. I believe this will give everyone a little bit of some fresh air.
Yes I really run this myspace, so I look forward to hearing from you and becoming friends, and the further discussions we may have.
Interested in what else I do? Songwriting and Producing for other artists is something I am really working for now. There is many cases where people are fantastic as spreading the word, and doing all that, but maybe they can't hit that right part, or right song... but throughout years of studying and creatively writing all my own music, I knew that the one thing I must do in this lifetime was to help other write there own songs, as well produce stuff they already have, to give them that hard edge. Sometimes when i look around, all i see is misery, despair, frustration and pain...
Then, i close my eyes, take a couple deep breaths, RELAX...And ask myself, "WHAT IF all I saw was what I WANTED TO SEE?" Then, I open my eyes. I see the sun, I see the blue sky, I see my girls smiling back at me, I see life...
And then, lo and behold, I see nothing but OPPORTUNITY...
