Subsignal was formed by Sieges Even's Markus Steffen (guitars, programming) and Arno Menses (vocals, keyboards), followed shortly after by Ralf Schwager (bass and Dreamscape),
As of December 2008 the band is completed by Roel van Helden (drums and Sun Caged) and David Bertok (Keyboards and Dreamscape), all material for a full lentgh cd has been written by now.
Songtitles are: I go with the wind, The sea, Where angels fear to tread, The trick is to keep breathing, Beautiful & Monstrous, To hope the road is long, Walking with ghosts, The last light of summer, Rain is the most beautiful colour,.
Subsignal just signed as worldwide deal with Golden Core Records (ZYX) and will give everything for a long, lasting and succesfull relationship.
Beautiful & Monstrous wil be recorded t Kohlekeller Studio's, where Sieges Even also recorded their 2007 "Paramount" album.
The music can be described as: melancholic, innovative, emotional and very melodic - in short...where Prog meets AOR. We leave the comparisons up to the critics....
The Beautiful & Monstrous album will be released, worldwide, by September the 26th 2009

I personally want to extend my extreme gratification for producing in my opinion, the best album for 2009! It's been a great pleasure streaming Subsignal's "Beautiful and Monstrous" on PRM Radio -- and, in HIGH rotation. This is great musicianship and it PROX!

Ich habe euren Song "The trick is to keep breathing" auf einem Sampler des Musikmagazins "Empire" gefunden und bin beeindruckt. Toller Song, erinnert mich ein wenig an die guten Sachen von Toto. Klare und kraftvolle Produktion, Instrumente sind alle herauszuhören und toller mehrstimmiger Gesang mit richtig guten Lead vocals. Von euch werde ich mir mit Sicherheit noch mehr anhören.
Für eure Zukunft wünsche ich euch alles Gute, vielleicht sehen wir uns ja mal in Hamburg. Passt auf euch auf.
Nachdem euer Album bei mir mitlerweile in Dauerrotation ist, sollte ich wohl auch mal Danke für den Add sagen: "Danke für den Add!" Schade, dass ich bei eurem Gig in Siegburg eine anderweitige Verpflichtung habe. Das wäre ja fast schon vor der Haustür.
