SubSONIC used to host our nights in the downstairs bar @ The Rhino Club as guests of resident alternative DJ Hammy and his Supersonic nights held upstairs.

FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS INCLUDING RECENT LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS BY BANDS AND DWINDLING ATTENDANCE, SubSONIC WILL NO LONGER BE PUTTING ON BAND NIGHTS AT THE FROG & FRIGATE EVERY MONDAY.
SubSONIC will possibly consider putting on occassional shows, but for the forseeable future SubSONIC is having a rest! We have put on many great bands over the years, but like all good things, it has come to an end.
Keep checking in with www.southscene.net for reviews of local bands and SubSONIC will still remain in a positive promotional capacity helping other good DIY promoters to plug their shows, both locally and elsewhere. hiya Mike, sorry for the last minuteness, the bristol show has been postponed so gonna have a think over the weekend about how to sort this out and drop you a line next week if that's cool? have you got any other traveling bands playing for you soon?
Really sorry the other bands were a waste of time tonight and all pulled out at the last minute. Sounds like it's hard work to get a gig together these days as we've had several nights cancelled now where bands are so unreliable...they should be black listed!!!
Sunday evenings..ugh!...good god…what are they good for?…absolutely nothing…until now!
there's currently a question mark hanging over whether le coutea jaune can make it, if they can't we will drop the price to £4 (£3 b4 9). whatever happens, come and check out the amazing sktanja and plain great glockenspiel at our first Sunday nob out. it beats tossing off to songs of praise.
