Sometimes it's the simplest things that are the most beautiful. A new dawn, a blade of grass or a snowflake, SUBTERFUGE certainly know this to be true.
A group conceived in the early nineties, they prove the staying power and strength of heartfelt music by presenting their latest epic, THE LEGENDARY EIFEL TAPES. Created when this bunch of city kids decided to up stumps and get back to basics, to be in touch with the wonder of simply being alive.
Marooned in the backwoods of the Eifel and free from all distractions, they had no choice but to write some truly sublime songs. The peace and charm of this idylic countryside seeped into their collective psyche, informing what has to be their strongest work to date. Eleven tracks of pure fresh air culled from the beauty of their surroundings. These songs describe timeless stories of love and loss, they breathe elegance and majesty, it's the sound of a group totally in tune with themselves. A pastoral wonderland aided by a host of musicians who lend the album depth and clarity.
THE LEGENDARY EIFEL TAPES is a cure for these all too often dour, anaemic times. The songwriting and production are smooth and warm, never fussy, but then sometimes it's the simplest things that are the most beautiful.

Im Februar 2008, bist Du/Ihr dabei????? Hallo meine Freund/e, ich möchte dich/euch um Hilfe bitten! Hier mein Projekt! Wie wäre es mit einer „Benefizaktion“ auf deinen/euren Events. Das Geld geht an die Initiative „Hilfe für Bechti=Michael“.
Damit alles seine Richtigkeit hat Spendenquittung usw..., wird sich "radio4handicaps" meiner Sache annehmen. Es wir aber noch ein wenig Zeit in Anspruch nehmen, bis (mitte/ende Februar 2008) alles soweit ist. Bis da hin suche ich Unterstützung! PS: Ein Spendenkonto wird in kürze eingerichtet!
