Hej! Jag har lagt upp en ny låt och kommer lägga upp fler med några veckors mellanrum. Hoppas att det finns någon i etern som tycker att det är lika fint som jag! Kram Calle
"Pure gold. This mix will make the "Mixtapes of 2008" post a lot easier for me to write." (Sundtrak) "I’m always complaining about the quality of mixtapes but the guys at Buffetlibre never let me down." (Electrorash) "Extremely nice" (Phase2) "The best and and nothing but the best" (Electric Stare) "Every track is really good and the final mixdown is even better" (Keem All Hippies) "Buffet Libre saved my life. These guys have been putting out some of the most tasteful mixtapes I’ve laid ears on" (Tuftsmania) "There's no better way to start off the week (especially in NYC where it's going to hit 97 degrees) than with a mixtape from the Spanish kids in Buffetlibre. It's quite spectacular." (The Culture Of Me) "Verbena No. 4 is hands down, one of the best mixes I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to" (Cream Team)
my name is Marina Volpatto. I am an audiovisual producer in Brazil, and I'm working on a short film project called "Encyclopedia". This is the début film of the director Bruno Barreto, a young talented screenwriter and director. The production company is Okna Produções, and we all are from Porto Alegre, the main city of Rio Grande do Sul, in the south of Brazil.
The film is a lovely history about the first love. Alex, a 9-year-old boy, is a shy kid who sees the world through the words of an encyclopedia. Although, when he meets Amanda, a 10-year-old girl, he realizes that the whole words of an encyclopedia are not enough to understand her. He fells in love for the first time and discovers that it can cause pretty good sensations, and also misery and sadness.
And in the magic moment Alex fells in love with Amanda, and asks her for a date, the director thinks that there is also a magic music: “Marry Me”, composed by Suburban Kids With Biblical Names.
We would love to have this music in our short film, because it contributes in the whole concept of the film. However, this is a very very low budget. We have not conditions of paying the rights of the song. So, I’m writing to know if you both can give us an authorization to use the song in the film. I’m at your disposal to clear all doubts you may have and to send you more information about the film and the production company. This is the website of Okna Produções: www. okna. com. br.
Thanks a lot for your attention. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
I know people keep giving you crap about #4, and I read your recent post...are you scrapping the album altogether? It's too bad if so...you guys seemed to be putting a lot of hard work into it.
I like the sound of your music so thank you for adding me as a friend. Your friendship and support are much appreciated. Hope you like my tunes, especially Playground as that is my latest tune - a bit rough round the edges, but I am really proud of it. Keep in touch.
