AUTOMATONS (U.S.A., 2007, 83’) di James Felix McKenney Girato in 8mm e ispirato alla science-fiction anni ’50 e ’60, il film racconta uno dei futuri possibili, nel quale la terra è stata ridotta dalla guerra a una landa desolata. L’ atmosfera è tossica e sopravvivono solo alcuni avamposti. La protagonista, una ragazza senza nome, passa la vita in un bunker claustrofobico insieme a dei robot che ricostruisce e ripara in vista della battaglia finale contro l’ esercito delle macchine.
Premio GAMERA - GAMERA Award LA PREZIOSA ANIMA DI FAUSTO (Italia 2007, 13') di Filippo Fraternali e Antonio Zucconi Fausto decide di vendere l'anima al diavolo ma non sa cosa chiedere in cambio.

CHAU VAN TRUONG is happy to know that they are enjoying it and negotiating major contracts with residuals, back end pays, and bonuses for my stories. Albero Rovesciato’s members Francesco Cavaliere & Marco Lampis are native to the mystic isles off Italy but now they roam Berlin, presumably because they have smashed all the percussion instruments in their homeland.
Self described as desiring to escape electronic effects in favor of material contact, the duo successfully opt to do weird the old fashioned way, using vocals, drums, bells, gongs an "objects" to concoct an immersive percussion orchestra piece that travels the spaceways between Varese's "Ionisation," Andrew Cyrille and Milford Graves' "Dialogue of the Drums," and Balinese gamelan. These guys aren't slouches either. It may sound like chaotic pot and pan handling, but the duo move through their sound realms with a speed and energy that's pretty tough to come by.
