After 8 long years of pioneering the all ages scene, Subverse will cease to exist as you know it. But never fear, as Subverse will be relaunched in a sexy new format in the next few months!
Originally created to accommodate some underage fans who were too young to get into a Lostprophets show, Subverse has become an institution among the youth of London and beyond. From its humble beginnings at West London’s Subterrania venue to its current home at Camden Underworld, the hallowed stage has had hundreds of up and coming bands bounce around on it, including Gallows, Funeral For A Friend, Bullet for my Valentine, Lightspeed Champion, Minus, Test-Icicles and Bring me the Horizon, who filmed their first video ‘Traitors Don’t Play Hangman’ at the club.
With over ten years of experience in the British music industry, Visible Noise has tirelessly run the event through thick and thin, week in, week out for eight crazy years. However, its time for a revamp of the UK’s longest running all ages club.
The new mini festival format will feature bigger and better lineups, a new location, guest DJs, secret headliners, themed events, stalls and much much more!

Hey there, just a quick NOYR update. Our bands are keeping busy 4ft Fingers will be supporting Lagwagon at the London Forum on July 20th and will shortly be announcing another uk tour, Young Heart Attack should be returning to Europe later in the year and InSoFar are busy in the studio writing for their debut album.
We're currenlty working on a few new releases, more news on that soon and keep an eye open for our new website in the coming weeks.

So a new version of subverse? why the change? subverse is amazing makes the begining of the month seem brighter before all the hard work its the best gig for us under 18 =) but i am looking forward to a new version too. change can be good xD how long will it take?

It's a shame seeing this go to be honest guys in the early days were you put on bands like Enter Shikari , The Blackout , Cry For Silence , etc. To see where they are now definatly is because of the breaks you gave them and got them out to the young public , its a shame that your going and all but maybe you'll spark back with something even better to us it's getting a bit shit nowadays and I don't know why the last one I thought was any good for me to go to was the fei comodo and exit ten one and that was pretty awesome but thanks for the memories of being a young youth being given a place to rock out to and meet new people and see my fave bands and not like it is today a place for silly pricks to go and get pissed at and other stuff , I hope you guys hit us back with a good format because we all know you guys at VN do a good job.
:/ i havent been to subverse for a couple of years now but its sad to see it change i went like every month when i was about 13/14 was proper good good luck with the whole new format thing x

okay...whats going on? Is Subverse over? I have to admit, I dont go anymore...2005 and the early days was all good...and heck there were even coll times in 06 and a little in 07 But it honestly did lose what it had... Every band Looked/sounded/acted the same...
but if this whole "R.I.P" thing actually means something then...it is sad to see Subverse go =[ #cos like I said, it did have its good days...wayback in the day...it was aweosme and something to feel proud of being part of... Its such a shame it lost that.
