Banda formada em 1997 por militantes socialistas com a proposta de fazer punk rock à luz das idéias comunistas. Sempre objetivando atuar como mais do que mera banda, os Subversivos inspiram-se na construção de uma postura cultural de ação e conscientização aliadas a uma prática politizada que encontre nos movimentos sociais seus maiores ecos, e na música e comportamento, a sua maior vanguarda!
Nesta tarefa, o material de agitação e propaganda da própria banda a acompanha onde quer que ela milite, seja nas ruas ou nos palcos! Hoje, a sonoridade dos Subversivos encontra par nas melódicas influências do Hardcore New School com a força e a postura do Punk Rock Old School. Entretanto, é a dialética entre as diversas influências musicais de seus integrantes, que resultam no atual e diferenciado punk rock dos Subversivos, e sua química contra-cultural.

SUBVERSIVE, adj. M. refers to an attempt to overthrow structures of authority; proper of subversion; a revolutionary.
Brazilian Band formed in 1997 by socialist militants with the proposal of making punk rock from the perspective of the Marxist ideas. Always objectifying to be more than just a band, the Subversivos are inspired in the construction of a cultural position allied with action and awareness to one practical politicized punch that joins the social movements as their bigger echoes, and the music and behavior, as their bigger vanguard!
In this task, the band’s agitation and propaganda materials follows them where the fight goes on, either in the streets or on stages! Today, the noise of the Subversivos finds a pair in the melodic influences of the New School Hardcore with the force and the position of the Old School Punk Rock. However, it is the dialectic forces between the diverse musical influences of their members that result in the current and differentiated punk rock of the Subversivos with their subculture chemistry.
