The founder of UNDERSTANDINC (NYC) and NO DRAMA STATESIDE
Vertx has been previously featured on Demostreams.com (now defunct) and has been sponsored by BEWILD.com along with SOBE ADRENALINE RUSH energy drinks, and most currently just finished a tour with Captain Morgan as a National A/V Manager and a national marketing tour with Interactive Gaming Xtreme sponsored by Namco.
Brought into the DJ circuit in the late nineties Vertx has been part of over a hundred events since then, and continues to pace himself doing special shows and holding residencies in between touring cross-country and working with his two production companies UnderStandInc and
No Drama Stateside.
Originally self-taught with vinyl on Technic M3Ds, Vertx has stayed up to date with technology and now never travels without his laptop loaded with an incomparable library - in order to take advantage of all means of music, always having the classics along with the newest tracks and special exclusive remixes.
Over the years Vertx has shared a stage performing with celebrities and headliners such as: Paul Wall, Remarc (uk), Rhythm Beater (uk), Mark S (uk), Dara, Odi, Lingo (ma), DB, Venom (ri), Stada, and many others.
Major nightclubs include: Rebel (downtime), Shelter, Club Exit, The Hook, Evolution, Studio B, the Tribeca Rooftop, and Asbury Park Convention Center.
Past residencies held at: Apocalypse Lounge (Active Beats), Image (Clean slate), and Link (Hookt).
