About me:
We did it. 24 hours and 2 minutes.Beginning early on the morning of Wednesday, August 23, two young men from New York City, Matt Green and Don Badaczewski, will attempt to break the record for riding the entire subway system in the least amount of time. The current record is 25 hours, 11 minutes.
While many in New York City show a casual interest in riding the subway, these two men will take it to another level, spending a steamy August day and night trapped in the sweltering subway, subsisting only on beef jerky and water, riding the rails until they have passed through every single station. It is unclear why two men would voluntarily submit themselves to such a harrowing ordeal; it probably has something to do with a need for attention or perhaps blunt head trauma sustained at a young age.
Please come out and support Matt and Don in their ride. They would like to encourage you to yell insults/compliments at anyone you see on the subway Wednesday or early Thursday morning who you think might be them. If you're right, you'll win a stick of beef jerky. If not, hey, who's going to notice another random screaming person in the subway?
