Suckered In started out in the Tampa Bay area of Florida in the spring of 2007. We were there for 2 years, which resulted in the recording of 3 songs and the playing of 1 show. During this time we had a few fine musicians come and go, including Rocco USM from the United States of Mind and Boob from Spirits Down. Thanks to these people for helping with recording and playing instruments!
At the end 2008, we decided to relocate back to our home state of Pennsylvania, and are now looking to book shows, record an EP, and make new friends.
We are NOT a political group. Our principal interests are history, culture, making minimalist music, bringing the music of our influences into the spotlight, and, most importantly, life in general. Take whatever you want away from this music. It is yours to interpret as you see fit. Simple Rock. Simple Folk. Simple Oi!
Yeah thanks! I'm hopefully going to find a way to record sometime soon. I'm probably doing another blink cover with my one friend, and idk what from there.
Definately. I am currently in the process of writing an original. Well i wrote it. i'm working on making it sound good. it basically follows the trend of a sappy blink 182 love song haha. I've been also working on two finger picking songs; Mr. Brightside by the killers, and What's my Age Again? by Blink.
Cool new sounds, congratulations to all, your family is the Cape Cod, very nice, here is a great place, greetings from Brazil, , im braziliam, but i live in Falmouth ...
Alright. I just started the singing and playing business about six months ago. So I still have a hard time projecting my voice. that's probably my main problem. I'm working on writing original songs. I have one. but i'm still working on it. Hopefully it will be up soon.
fuck yea thats what we are tryin to do bridge that gap between psychobilly and oi ! welcome to the psycho club once your in its hard to get out !!! We are thinkin the spring to come out to pa so will definitly hit you up on some venue names around .Thanx again for all your support you fuckin rule and i trully dig your tunes as well great dirty folk and i hopin we can play together when we come out !! Thanx GoreDon
Cheers thanx again man. a lot of our influences come from 90 s street punk and we have always loved bands with grindy voices like the bruisers and ducky boys, tom waits and that kind of shit. So when you play psychobilly with grindy vocals everybody kinda lumps you in to being a demented are go rip off band , and not saying i dont love DAG but thats far off from what we wanted to do which is tryin to mix that 90s street punk we grow up loving with psychobilly. so thats why we wanted to cover the bruisers and agent orange and shit to show some of our influences. Al Barr has the coolest vocals in music. other than us i mean !! but yea phoenix is awsome good music scene here and a lot of cool people. Pittsburgh isn't the most happening town so it was pretty cool to come to here. phoenix isnt the most well known city but its fuckin huge and there is a lot to do. But it is hot as balls most of the year but better than florida or a real humid state.
Hi, thanks for joining Make It Happy Army, the finest chamber punk-rock you’ll ever listen to. Hope you dig our music (please let us know what you think about our songs if you have a minute, it is very important for us). Cheers from Padova, Italy.
Hey thanks for the add. I really enjoyed the songs you all have up. Any chance you could give a junior in high school some advice on how to sound better?
James Greene, Jr., a freelance music writer from Brooklyn, New York, reports that legendary hard rock drummer Chuck Biscuits, whose lengthy résumé included stints in such flagship underground acts as BLACK FLAG and SOCIAL DISTORTION, died Saturday (October 24) after a prolonged battle with throat cancer. He was 44 years old.
"In response to the inquires, thank you for all the support," an anonymous family member wrote in an e-mail sent yesterday morning. "Chuck did not survive his battle with throat cancer. He passed surrounded by his family on 10/24/09."
Chuck Biscuits was probably best known to the general populous for his work with DANZIG. Beginning in 1988, Chuck played on that group's first four albums, which are often hailed as DANZIG's best (thanks in no small part to Chuck's powerful drumming style). Th
