Opus 4 is a jazz ensemble, based in southern Oregon's Rogue Valley.

Sue is best known for her work as a composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist at the acclaimed Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She is also co-artistic director and founding member of the Terra Nova Consort, an historic music ensemble dedicated to exploring the ancient roots of contemporary world music. Equally at home in current and historic musical worlds, Carney’s multilingual vocal performances effortlessly cover genres from jazz, cabaret, blues and rock; to flamenco, latin and world music. Her songs & compositions likewise draw inspiration from the many musical realms she has explored in her unconventional career.
