Actually, my dad's parents met (and apparently fell in love) doing vaudeville -- and my dad used to sing as a kid between shows. My grandmother was a piano player who played music behind silent movies in the theater, and her father was a well known harp player who came from Italy (and used to entertain at logging camps). I'm sorry -- this is probably TMI, but I love history stuff! Too bad they all died when I was so young.
