"Sue sings with real soul and impeccable taste. She is a joy to make music with!"
-Greg Leisz
(Pedal Steel with kd lang, Joe Cocker, Joni Mitchell, Lucinda Williams, Percy Sledge, Willie Nelson & Sheryl Crow)
"Sue is the owner of what I consider to be some of the most expressive and heartfelt vocal performances I have ever had the pleasure of recording. Her vocal depth and ability to turn a variety of lyrics into magical and moving music, will undoubtedly move and reward every listener. She is great talent with a beautiful persona. I hope you have the opportunity to find out for yourself."
-David Slagter
Producer / Engineer
"Sue Leonard is wonderfully talented, intuitive, creative, and able to sing absolutely anything - passionately.... she's also one of the nicest people I've ever met."
-Ben Mink
Producer/Songwriter
"from the minute i heard sue's voice, i heard a soul. i heard an ability. I hired her immediately a true professional and a wonderful spirit."
-kd lang
"If every singer on this show tonight sang like Sue we'd have one hell of a show"
-Mike Greene President of NARAS (backstage at the Grammy Awards)
"The sound was rich and eerily perfect from the very first bar of the opener, "Save Me", a slow, smokey arrangement typical of Ingenue. lang's singing and that of the backing vocalists Linda Kidder and Sue Leonard was well above the technical standard encountered at most rock shows..."
-From BBC Life and Times
(kd lang at the Hammersmith Odean Theatre)
"When Sue sings it send shivers up my spine."
-Tom Harrison, Music Journalist The Vancouver Province
"What a powerful voice."
-Denise Donlen, Much Music

A simple video is absolutely fine with me. The Orange sweet potato soup was excellent if you want I will print a recipe for you. Made an apple cinnamon pie for desert and it was one of my best yet. Been a leader in organic gardening for years ;)
I had a special feeling that something good was coming and a video will be fantastic Sue, counting the minutes till it's finished ;) It's a warm day here in ON so I will check the greenhouse to see what love the veggies and strawberries have to offer, perhaps some leek or orange sweet potato soup would go great with those taters ;)

I change layout from time to time, but this layout has been on for a few months, I think. And this is the only place to find me :-)
What I'm ranting about in my status is the change of our profile - our "homepage" from where we read mail, bulletins, etc. Mine changed last night and I am not happy with it at all. Boo!
Thank you Sue!! You're always very generous.. I will say hello to Peter from you as you wish :) Soon for that thing you know.... top secret stuff.. ahaha lol Ciao ciao! Ben
Hello Sue! I just posted 4 new tracks on my player, from the demo that I recorded with the singer Peter Strakos from Slovakia "Peter Strakos - Busking Sessions with Ben Sherwood". The arrangements and the quality are pretty basics, cause literally we recorded 12 songs all in one take (live) in just 5 hours(!!!), and we've been busking together not more that 10-12 times. But it's all good, I love to collaborate with different artists and challenge myself with other styles.. infact on the record you can hear that I'm not really used to play solos, I'm more a rithm/fingerstyle guit player. I guess it's a good excuse to get better with my pic tecnique. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the songs and, untill the next time, take care! x Ben
