I have sung this very tune on many occassions. The lyrics are rather poignant. "Feelings are intense, words are trivial, pleasures remain, so does the pain, words are meaningelss and forgettable". Pleasures likes memories leave a lasting impression, especially when passion filled. Alas, the pain of ills and wrongs done to others and those done onto you also leave markings. Anyways, onto the story... I have encountered many people in life. All which have left some memory with me. Long ago, when I was a younger female, I met a person that I thought would quench my desires. Much later on, I realized that the reality was much harsher and crueler than the dream I had fantasized about. Eh, there are coincidences in life, timing does play a relevant role and nothing does occur without reason. Anyways, throughout the last years, I have met a handful of individuals that have been interesting in their own ways. In combination, they have all possessed verbal eloquence, passionate creativity, spontaneity, bouts of nocturnal energy and have been interesting friends and or more. One would assume that from an array of these individuals, that you would find someone suitable for companionship, but the truth is, no. Are some souls connected as is the belief? Does one realize when you have encountered such a person that understands the complexity of said soul? In the end, all you ever wanted, all you ever needed was here in my arms. The power and strength that passage possesses is still relevant today. What do you seek? Companionship and understanding is of utmost importance. Additionally, there has to be a great inner strength of mind and character, a zest for life and the pursuit of learning and self growth. They say that your lover should be your best friend and I would assume this to be quite accurate. Let him be strength of character, a person unafraid of challenge, ambitious and goal oriented, someone who allows for compassion and care to exist in his heart. Provide him with the patience to understand the complexity of the woman he holds dear. Said woman lies and waits for his seductive touch and understanding. She awaits...Midnight...

About me: A Solitary figure who finds much comfort in the tranquility of the NIGHT. A very common feeling to many, I suppose. For me, it is an awakening from slumber each night that the sky darkens. It is bombarded with an array of vibrant colors and tinges. I find myself in awe each time I gaze upon its beauty. Finally, when it is all dark, the moon shines brightly and its companion, Venus, rises.

As a child, I would spend countless hours creating fanciful tales within the caverns of my mind. Deep in thought, creative energies flowing allowed for such dreams to became a recluse from the mundane. Nowadays, I still dwell within such visions, but with a realization that they are attainable as long as one holds on to perseverance and hope. Nothing is ever too farfetched.
A great mentor once made a comment that will forever stay within me. He said, "Actions are not a depiction of your person, but merely actions and even those decisions that once enslaved you in their torturous grasp do not taint your soul". Such a passage made tears of such pain come forth with force. Alas, I realized that if you allow the past and regrets to take a hold of you, you shall remain a prisoner...
