Reviews
"Criminally unsigned..."- UK Music shopper
"Another favorite takes her place on my shelf...I played it again and again-cuz I wanted to.." GoGirlsMusic.com
"Sue Quigley has a magnificent voice. Her warm, full-bodied alto is reminiscent of early Melissa Etheridge, Susan Tedeshi and Bonnie Raitt and, like those artists, she's also an accomplished guitar player...the soul-glimpsing lyrics make her music all the more accessible."
Kristin Hubbard, Vigilance Music~~~~~
"....Sue's music will leave you tapping your foot and singing the choruses for days...Joe Reineke brings the raw grit that best showcases Quigley's voice and poignant lyrics"- Jesse Flores, Seattle Sound Magazine~~~~~~
Bio
Having been slected to play the prestigous Rockrgrl Conference in Seattle and "Chick Singer Night" at the famous Bitter End in NYC. Sue is currently working on songs for the new album and plans to promote the release with a West coast tour
We are currently booking shows for the Summer Festival season. Starting with a show at the Key Arena in Seattle WA for the Opening day of the WNBA Seattle Storm.
Following the debut and self titled EP, the Sue Quigley band reformed with new members, and recorded their first full-length CD titled, "Outside In". This album was coproduced by Joe Reineke (the Meices, Alien Crime Syndicate, Guns N Roses) setting the stage for a burgeoning music career.
This CD is notably more gritty and a touch more rock than the previous EP, but maintains the vocal charisma Sue is known for.
David Wall (also plays in “American School of Warsaw”) joined Sue as a replacement guitarist shortly after the release of her EP.
David credits the diversity of his tastes to growing up with musical parents. His grace and keen edge on guitar goes from lilting themes to blues and, at times, straight ahead Rock.
