| General | Oh boy, where do I start? There are so many things I love to do. I love traveling, I like going out to restaurants and I love to bake. Of course I love all my children and grandchildren. But I also like meeting people and working on projects and doing new things. | | Music | I like all the classics of course. I’ve always loved Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin’s voices. Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller sure knew how to have a good time. Having 4 kids and 13 grandchildren, I’ve also listened to a lot of other music too. The White Stripes is one of my grandkids favorite bands. I like them a lot, and that Von Bondies are pretty neat. I like OutKast too because they are very experimental and sound different than a lot of those other rapper groups. They also have a very unique clothing line. I also like J-Dilla. I’d like to use some of his beats for a mash-up. There is also a group called Something Corporate that sounds pretty good, and The Juliana Theory can be good too, but they can be a little loud. Loretta Lynn has a beautiful voice too, especially on LP. I don't have any MP's but then that's how I roll. Old School! | | Movies | Call me old fashion, but I just don’t think they make movies like they use to…I’ll take Casablanca and Gone With The Wind any day…Although that Spike Jonze sure is a cutie. | | Television | I like most programs on the DIY Network-Crafters Coast to Coast, DIY Nextdoor, B. Original just to name a few; the Home And Garden Network-Craft Lab, DIY To The Rescue, Junk Brothers, Offbeat America, Uncommon Threads, etc. I like the idea of Current TV and MTV2. And of course, Do Your Own Adventure With Sue Teller! | | Books | I have to admit that I don’t read that many books any more. But I’ve found a lot of magazines that seems to be pretty good. I know one of my grandkids gets a lot of them that I get a kick out of; Filter magazine is good and Peel magazine has a lot of neat stickers in it. Day In The Lyfe Magazine, Juxtapoz Magazine, Arkitip, Blender, Giant Robot are all magazines I look through for inspiration. They’re interesting to say the least. I think Make Magazine, ReadyMade Magazine, Crafts Magazine and Craft Arts International Magazine are great magazines for learning about projects and crafts. I want to like Vice Magazine, but it’s so weird. And SNKR FRKR Magazine, Verve Magazine and Freshness magazine are some other interesting ones too. There are also a lot of good websites I’ve stumbled upon; guerillaone.com is fun and woostercollective.com is one of my favorites. Coolhunting.com always has some nice things to see, so does wemakemoneynotart.com. graffitiresearchlab.com is another one of my favorites too. And tribe.net is another one of my favorites. There are so many people on there that I meet, it’s just incredible. They have great tips and links to arts and crafts sites, I could spend all day just on that site alone! | | Heroes | I've always admired people who were able to follow their passions. When I was much younger Picasso was one of my idols, he was so different. Of course, today there are so many new people giving it their all and experimenting. It's so exciting, there's a young man named Banksy that is just fantastic and someone named Yamamoto who makes some really neat sneakers and clothes. Of course these are just famous people, there are so many of you that inspire me too. Anyone who’s not afraid to take a risk or try something different. |

About me:
Hello,
I’m Sue Teller and I’ve been teaching arts and crafts classes for over 40 years! I always enjoyed working with people, but after so many years, I was tired of making all the same old crafts. That’s when my grandson told me about the websites. So I got a computer and I just get on and learn about all the fun people being creative. I also meet so many nice people who want to learn about arts and crafts and who teach me things too. That’s why I started this worldwide internet site. So, if you want to learn how to make some fun crafts like wintergreen oil T-shirt transfers or design your own plush toys, you can read my arts and crafts blog or watch my videos. They’re exciting and easy. There’s only one rule. You have to have fun! So don’t be afraid to stop by and say hi or make some arts and crafts.

Who I'd like to meet:
I’ve been fortunate to meet so many great people, but of course there are always more I’d like to meet. I guess I’d start with more grandchildren. I’d like to meet people who’ve made a difference in the world. Oprah seems nice, and so does that Bono. I’d like to talk to Martha Stewart too because she’s so good at making things, but I don’t think she’d be very talkative. There’s a fellow by the name of Dave the Chimp who does some really fun things and seems like he’d have a lot to say. From what I gather, that Shepard Fairey gentleman sure has been influential too, maybe we could exchange wheat paste recipes. Of course there are a lot of other people I’d like to meet…like you! So stop by and holler holler!
