Suffolk 'n' Cool does not recognise borders - whether between countries, cultures or post-codes.

The digital revolution means that artificial barriers (created by the old system) between musicians and their audiences are now irrelevant. Our mission through this podcast is to re-make those broken connections and so:
> bring great music to listeners
> get the music out to a world-wide audience
> build a whole new "fair-trade" economy so that musicians are justly rewarded for their talent and effort.

In his relative youth, my producer, Peter Clitheroe, worked with most of the great bands at (the then independent) Island Records in London and Los Angeles and, ever since, has had a feel for good and interesting music.

He believes that if your musical tastes haven't changed in the last couple of years, you should check your pulse - you may be dead!

"Friends" policy - PLEASE CHECK THIS
This is a tricky one. Friends are great, just great and I'd love to have you as a friend. Here's how. I'm going to keep this "friends" section, right here, limited to artists that I've played (or want to play) on the show. Quite a few people have commented that the SnC friends section on MySpace is like a musical playground that you can just dive into and know that you're going to find loads of really interesting music, everywhere you turn.
