Marlee began public live performances with siblings Judy Ginn and Jim Walchuk at age 14 - no quiet start for Marlee as she faced 16,000 fans at the Vancouver Coliseum as a teenager and was a regular on the CBC Variety hit “The Judy & Jim Show”.
Her training at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in LA propelled her further into a music and acting career. She balanced her club performances with her studio singing for commercials such as McDonalds and BC Lotto, and television appearances on popular programs like The Vancouver show, The Irish Rovers, The Nice Show and many others.
Various Duo & Trio projects led to Marlee’s single act which won “Battle of Vancouver’s Best Solo Rock Acts” and a hit single which won 1st prize in the Canadian Song Festival and was on the Canadian A Playlist for 6 months.
Marlee’s pop/rock band Mistress toured the US and Canada and was a massive favourite in the gay community.
Her 1st album “One More Chance” was released in the late 90's and she toured Canada and Germany with crowds of 10,000 people eager to hear her smooth, sexy and powerful voice. She was nominated for 5 BCCMA awards and won Best Vocalist in 1999.
Tully joined Marlee to form Sugarbeach in early 2007 leaving behind her corporate career in Sydney, Australia. Tully who has always had her hand in some musical project or another, now focuses on Sugarbeach with the same energy with which she energized her own corporate firm. About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D

yea im really good. going to be finishing high school soon, and then in december i am going to be coming to vancouver to work on Grouse Mountain. i thought it would be good to get in contact with you seeing as you are in vancouver, and it would be great to visit. we are still looking for accomodation and i was wondering if you knew any good places for rent available in december, or just if you could keep an eye out for a place for us, love to hear any ideas, or just some local ideas on places to stay.
