Sounds Like
We try to capture the feel of old blues songs but in our own unique way.
We met at a top notch open acoustic venue in summer '05 and found a liking for similar music and things have taken off from there.
We play alot of old blues songs by people such as Memphis Minnie, Gary Davis, Blind Blake, Lillie Mae Kirkman, Willie Brown, Skip James, Mississippi John Hurt and Geechie Wiley.
We like to take a fresh look at old blues recordings and make them accessible to the public with modern media.
We also write and play our own original songs and guitar duet instrumentals.
And we do some of the more unusual modern songs by musicians like Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Beatles, Travis and Joni Mitchell.
Wednesday 17th October Amazing Free Live Music in Kettering For the VERY FIRST TIME you have the chance to hear the amazing PAUL BONAS playing LIVE in Kettering. He is the most incredible fingerpicking blues/ragtime acoustic guitarist for 100's of miles around. Possibly the only chance you will ever get to see him in Kettering. TOTALLY FREE ADMISSION!.. Plus LESLEY BING a wonderfully talented female composer/fingerpicker/singer. And the stunning JO HORNE from Northampton, a fantastic female singer/guitarist/songwriter. And FOXY, a folk duet featuring violin and mandolin. Plus if you are crazy enough get there at 830, a unique opportunity to see two people sharing and playing a single guitar.
