In a hype-frenzy world saturated by the musical sewage of so-called American idols drunk in their own artless shame, one band stands against the evil forces of Pop Culture and Corporate America. Fighting the fads, the hits, and the politics is none other then the compositional destruction of SUGARFIST.
The experiments began in the year of 1999, under the tormented onslaught of media commercialism and one-hit radio-death re-plays. Over the years, radical songs of music oppression were created to help in the fight against the growing trend of a top-40 radio sickness. Meanwhile in freedumb land, the population fell into the hands of an evil dictator who would send the world into a state of war, fascism, anti-sentiment and social class oblivion. Sugarfist struck back, altering and excelling their creative spirit to compose their own musical weapon of mass destruction- and the revolutionary anthems of Jamais Vu and Media Date Rape were born.
Combining a variety of elements from metal and swing to funk fusion and jazz-core, SUGARFIST sounds like no one and everyone at the same time. Influenced by the works of Mike Patton, Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, David Lynch and everything from Slayer to Mr. Bungle and Miles Davis to System of A Down. The Sugarfist experience is an opera of insane cartoon music hysteria, fused with political activism and all out revolution. Witness it for yourself and experience the FIST!!!!!!!!

Its fucking terrible I never had the chance to see you fuckers play. the music industry,as it is, stands over original music shaking it's head like a disapproving parent. Things need to change so bands like yourself are realised for the creativity they hold. look after yourselves.

Thanks for all the great music. It's been a pleasure. Too bad I couldn't be there for the last performance... or any for that matter. (Poor Midwest Zombie)
