I'm Leanne and I have been sewing for about 10 years. Since 2004, I have been selling my original creations online, and in March of 2007 I got myself an etsy shop...
I specialize in cabaret and tribal bellydance costumes, original clothing designs, and other textile creations....but I have many creative interests!
All of the things I sell are designed and made by me, so every item is a unique creation. I find inspiration for my items everywhere, and am always experimenting. I love fine art and not-so-fine art, whimsical, fun things, elegant things, and shiny sparkly things, bright colors, subtle colors, silk, lace and dirt in the garden. I also get really excited it I can find a new (or old) way to recycle or reuse something! My current favorite technique is fusing plastic grocery bags and making them into useful, reusable items totes and whatnot.
