For the last weekend of every July, approximately 600 music lovers migrate to Sugar Creek Campground near Bloomingdale, IN, for three days of peace, camping, and music. The Sugar Creek Music Festival, a.k.a. Sugarstock, is the highlight of the year for the region's music fans -- a blowout party that gives everyone a chance to hang with old friends, meet new ones, dance to bands they know, and discover ones they don't.
Music is the main draw but there are others.....the wooded, secluded setting of the private campground, the camaraderie and friendship, the all-night acoustic jams around campfires, and Hemphill's Dandelion Wine (available in three potencies: 'Sweet', 'Not So Sweet', and 'Good God, Man!').
If you haven't been to Sugarstock yet, c'mon down next year. After that you'll never miss another.
TICKET INFO
Tickets are $45.00. After July 1st the ticket price is $55.00. Admission price includes all camping fees + beer and food on Saturday.
At 4:00 p.m. Saturday when the music starts and the beer is tapped the gates are closed and no one is permitted to leave until the gates are re-opened Sunday morning -- NO EXCEPTIONS! We do this because we love you!
