J	Aug 19 2008 9:27 PM Good question! The price goes up for a couple of reasons, first and foremost being that if we don't, people will lagg and wait to buy tickets to the end. We are trying to encourage people to buy tickets sooner than later. The reunion has $0 to start with, so some people on the committee are fronting lots of money (more than 1K) for deposits on the venue, food, bar, etc. We are trying to get these people their money back as soon as we can. In addition, the cost of things, like the venue and food, need to be paid in full a couple of weeks before the reunion, so we really need sell the majority of tickets before then so we can cover the cost. While there have been some generous people on the committee, they can't (and shouldn't) have to front the entire cost and wait to be reimbursed until after the reunion. We don't know how much the cost will go up yet - it really depends on how many tickets we sell before Sept. 1. I hope this helps! Take care and see you soon!
