SUICIDE ALI started in 2004 with vocalist Goshi and guitarist Hiroshi. In 2005, Yuu and Hisashi joined thus completing the line-up. Even before releasing their first single, through lives and the popularity of the free download's available on their OHP, SUICIDE ALI was able to gain many fans and sell-out their debut single, THIS NEW ORDER. In 2008, the band released two mini-albums as well as a maxi-single - all available for purchase throughout Japan and internationally. After Yuu's departure in early 2009, bassist Kozi joined the SUICIDE ALI as their story continued to unfold worldwide. 2009 saw the release of another maxi-single, as well as the release of the band's first full length album, Daiyon no Waltz, in the fall. SUICIDE ALI made another journey back to the states, this time making their east coast debut in Hampton, VA for two full length concerts as well as various other promotional events.

The name SUICIDE ALI derives from the idea of the perfect suicide. The vision is not to dwell upon death, but to choose a journey and tell a story through life. As everyone's life journey will eventually end in death, one's entire life is in a way a perfect suicide. The story of SUICIDE ALI is a novel, with each member playing a crucial role in developing its plot and ultimate conclusion.

With the backing of many fans, SUICIDE ALI has enjoyed what they have been able to accomplish thus far.
