SUICIDE BOOTH is a synthpop-electro band from Munich consisting of Spif Anderson and Daniel Dressler.
Former Member Stefan Fenzel left the Band in March 2009. Suicide Booth let themselves be inspired by comics and B-movies like “Futurama“ and “Tarantula“ and turn those into exceptionally good electronic music with a strong strain of 80's sound.
The music offers a huge variety of sounds containing elements of electro, italo-disco, wave and many others.
Their EP “Aura“ which is highly inspired by the Sci-Fi classic “I am Legend“ got released on “Das Drehmoment Records” in 2007 and was praised by the critics.
In 2008 their full-length Debut-CD “Terror from the Sky“ got released on “Biohazzard Records” and even gained the third rank in the German Alternative Charts.
Concerning the content and the music “Terror from the Sky” resumes the “Aura“ EP and the main characters still are vampires, mad scientist and aliens. Correspondingly to this, vocoders are used in many songs, creating a spacy but never coolly sound.
