Suleyka has met gurus in mountains of India, sat with shamans in the forests of Brazil, written songs on the beach in Hawaii and crashed parties in Montreal where she now lives. From a young age she was mesmerized the power of song, and sang in her head all the time. From girl scout songs to Madonna to Dylan to Nirvana to Sanskrit chants, she kept the songs coming and going, started to write and compose her own material in her years travelling, and recording by various twists of fate and lots of prayers. She is currently co-producing her debut album with arranger-producer Andrew David, to be released in 2010.
