About Sullen Demise(w/Behind Crimson Eyes)

Sullen Demise is an alternative metal band with nothing in their minds but music and performing. All 5 members listening to different genres has caused an almost sexual sound, many saying it couldn't be imitated.

Springing from the Central Coast Guitarist (Insacious), Bassist (Fingers) and drummer (Joel) formed a 3 piece band which wrote some catchy yet terrible songs. It wasn't until some months later when the shrilling Guitar work of Trikky and Vocals of Gabblar came in did the band take off.
They wrote 9 songs in a matter of months and started doing shows around the central coast, rarely doing covers they were complimented on their originality. They recorded 2 songs but weren't happy with the results due to time, money and sickness. They chose to wait until their songs had been taken apart and put back together again to record their EP.

Joel (drummer) parted ways with Sullen Demise due to personal reasons in late 2008 leaving them to compete in the central coast battle of the bands without a drummer.
This did not extinguish their hopes in gaining a place in the renowned central coast battle of the bands. Instead of pulling out of the competition, Sullen Demise was resourceful enough to throw their guitarist; Insacious into the deep end and play drums for their entire live set for a number shows. Despite the numerous troubles the now 4 piece band faced due to the lineup adjustments, they were still able to break through and triumph second place in the central coast battle of the bands in November 2008.
Such victory saw them not only a $1000 prize but also an official measure of their talent as one of the most talented upcoming bands on the Central Coast of NSW Australia.

Following the competition, Sullen Demise took a six month hiatus in order to find a replacement drummer and re-perfect the unique sound they have established over the first months of their career.
Sullen Demise is now tearing up the music scene again as their new drummer SarahSUICIDE™ has mastered the songs and is in gear for some serious skin smashing.

The future looks very sullen indeed...
