Various musicians, always someone playing on any of the following: acoustic and electric guitar, piano, bass, cello, violin, saxaphone, and drums. I have also had Native American flutes and drums. And other vocalists, too! Always a little different each time out.
The sounds are coming together nicely. Sweet!
Influences
You mean, like since I was a kid? Or the last couple of years? How about the last couple of weeks?
Okay, so here's a few: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jackson Browne, The Eagles, Dire Straits, Neil Young, James Taylor... Coldplay, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Snow Patrol, Sleeping At Last, Crowded House, Goo Goo Dolls, Sixpence None The Richer, A Fine Frenzy, Jack Johnson, East Mountain South.
Definitely just a few...
I'm also heavily influenced by classical music.
Sounds Like
Contemporary rock. Acoustic guitar and piano based rhythms.
March 14th, 2008 Update: The songs currently in the player are from two shows at The Bean Cup, Feb. 1st. and March 7th, 2008. All live and un-edited. All fun. Background noises included for free!

The plans are to get some songs recorded and fully produced in a studio in the near future. Keep checking back to see what's been posted, as I change things around pretty often.
I'd like to have at least one live song on here all the time, since that's what this is all about at this point. We'll just have to see how that goes. I enjoy doing live recordings. They are a little challenging, plus the music is usually spontaneous and full of more energy. So for now, I'm going to keep something live online here at MySpace.

I hope you all enjoy the music. Come out to a show sometime soon. It's a lot of fun. A few others get in the mix now and then. I'm always looking for good musicians to play with. I really like to collaborate and to have others join in on the music makin'. That's the most fun for me.

About the ordering of my Top Friends: Typically I put those that are my music friends and collaborators first, and then highlight some of my favorite bands and artists that you may not be aware of, and intermix the rest of the list with various local musicians and other favorite artists.
hey! yeah it was a ton of fun, and glad to meet you too! some people were telling us about a place called lazy daze out in irvington apparently they're a music-havin' coffee shop maybe you could come out there and play with us some time that'd be great I think
my due date is the 25th of this month. i wouldn't mind her coming out now lol but my doctor says to be patient because w/first time pregnancies they tend to go longer so she thinks its a possiblity i will go AFTER my due date. we will see lol
i'm glad to hear things are going better for you. lindsay and i were just talking bout you the other day. she was craving chocolate and i told her too bad chris not here! LOL he always had some type of chocolate lol
I am going to try my hardest because I absolutely love to hear you play. I'm still working on getting packed though, and I'm running out of time. I can't promise that I'll make it. I'm going to try to stay up all night and finish off my room. Then if I can get through the shed and finish off Angel's room before your show tomorrow, I will DEFINITELY be there. I just can't say for sure. I hope you know I still love you though, and I'm looking forward to having all this done so I'll have more time for more of your shows from now on!!!!
You're the best, and thanks for the smile. I'm doing alright now. I guess everything is ok now, we'll see how things go. It does look like I'll be moving at the end of August. I'm so sad we won't be neighbors anymore!!!
Chris- You are a very talented young man!! It was a real experience hearing that awesome piano the other night. Keep in touch for any songwriter events. sandy
Well, I came down off my corn chip and cheesecake buzz. I think you may be becoming a bad influence!! I'm glad you and Scott had me come out though. I miss you guys!!
I'll be really excited to get a copy of the stuff you do in the studio. You know, you should consider putting some of the live stuff on a CD too. I'd love to send one to Jene. JoBeth is here for the weekend, and I was listening to your songs and told her it was you. She couldn't believe it. I love the way you're adding in all the different sounds. The Cello really adds a lot to your songs. You have a great ear for music. Keep me posted on the CD...I've been waiting so long!!!
