Determined to create an experience for listeners that involved more than just cookie-cutter industry tactics, Sullivan Skye formed in late 2007 when Josh Kulchar and Paul Kiger took the stage with singer/songwriter Joe Mariucci. Ohio native Adam Barr added his talents to the roster to complete the much anticipated emergence of Sullivan Skye. In the summer of 2008, Sullivan Skye released their 6 song album, Two Ways to Stop a Heart From Beating. In late 2008, Adam Barr decided to leave Sullivan Skye to pursue other interests. Steve Foley and Tyler DeCoeur recently joined to recomplete the band and have helped launch Sullivan Skye into 2009. With their simple yet profound lyrics, carefully crafted melodies and precise execution of musical intricacies, Sullivan Skye is sure to supply fans with a performance that will have them screaming the words out at every show.
We are complex individuals, and at times over critical. Yet contrary to popular belief, we think with our hearts, not our heads, some just don't listen well. We refuse to watch life from the sideline, this is your time, this is my time, and it's a fire that drives a desire to achieve what is ours in this lifetime...
