Music
Nine Inch Nails is hands down the greatest band ever. The White Stripes is the best band in the past few years, they really got an original sound. For my oldies choices I have to go with Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, both are excellent artist. Also into Tori Amos, Pink Floyd, System of a Down, I think that most new music really sucks, nothing too original anymore, it's all about marketing. I wish it were more gear to the art and not the look, and what will sell. Gone are the days when it was about the music, trying to convey something through song. There are very few artist out now that seem to care anymore.
Movies
To many to list, love everything, action, drama, comedy, anything from the Criterion Collection, old samurai movies, b rate horror flicks, zombie movies, anything by Kevin Smith. The Top Five Movies for me
Television
The Simpsons is the best show ever. The Sopranos, The Shield, CSI, Seinfield, Nip Tuck, I don't watch TV a lot mostly History Channel and Discovery.
Books
Terry Prachett, Douglas Addams, and Chuck Palahniuk are my top authors. Anything by them I enjoy reading. I like Sci-Fi, fantasy, Sherlock Holmes Books, really just about anything I can read. I like reading comics from time to time also. One of my favorite books is American Gods by Neil Gaiman, really interesting story about religions and road side attractions.
Heroes
My Dad is the greatest guy in the world. Taught me everything I ever wanted to know about everything.

James Bored of what it is and what it could be, maybe I'll step aside and let it go by. Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way. Maybe I'll just obstruct from now Posted at 2:54 AM Nov 24 view more
About me: Just a normal guy looking for a fun time with friends and family. Just thought I would see what this site is all about and decided to log on and start seeing what the big deal is. I spent five years in the Marines, some of the best times in my life. I am glad I joined but even happier that I am out. Would never change a thing about my past, it's me so if I did I would be someone else. I think that I am pretty intelligent and wise for my age. I am pretty shy at first but once I open up I am fun to be around. I can come off as cold and emotionless at times but that is just how I am. I enjoy the small things in life and think that I have the best life a person can have. I try not to ever let things get me down, I try to always be up beat and positive even at the worse times. What else is there to say I know who I am and how I am, there is nothing better then that. Life is good, I am just glad to be here on this rock we call home. If the ol' God came down and said it's time to go, I just stare him/her in the eyes and say "What do you need me to do."
